A fruit of the spirit is a very important thing to have in life. Thankfulness might not be a fruit of the spirit,but it's still an important thing to have in our lives. There's a whole day set aside for Thankfulness,Thanksgiving Day, even though it's more commonly known as stuff-your-mouth-and-stomach Day. For some it's probably also known as football Day, or maybe the day I don't get the TV.
But behind that, there's a whole other meaning. Take a look at the name Thanksgiving. Thanks. Giving. on that day you give thanks. But not many people do that anymore. Instead they go to family's house and act like they're bears getting ready to hibernate. They eat,and eat,and eat until they can't eat another bite.
Thanksgiving is about giving thanks. Every day should be Thanksgiving in a Christian's life.Maybe Thankfulness should be a fruit of the spirit.
